A major component of the Dance B.A. program is PERA ID - the Intensive Dance Workshop, where students work with a number of acclaimed dance artists and choreographers. The aim of the intensive workshop is to support the ongoing development of the students and expose them to a range of working methods and strategies in relation to training, improvisation and composition that reinforces choreographic thinking, the creative process, and performance skills. PERA ID also provides students with the opportunity to learn dynamic combinations and repertoire extracts from professional dance companies, and to question and transform previous knowledge through learning new choreographic methodologies. A source of inspiration, PERA ID encourages both self-reflection and creative exchange, as well as nurturing students’ artistic and individual voices.
